The cemetery was dedicated June 8, 1997 by Bishop David A. Zubik. Bishop Zubik also dedicated the Holy Savior Chapel Mausoleum on November 26, 2005.

As of 2008 interments and entombments total 349 at Holy Savior Cemetery.
